Solo Topeng (mask Dance)

Topeng is a mask dance that has been created by adopting different animal and human characters, both good and evil. In this instance, the performance includes a number of human characters, which have been created by talented mask makers.

The name topeng panca represents the number of the dancers involved in the performance (panca means five in Sanskrit).Basically, a topeng panca performance is similar to topeng sidakarya or topeng pajegan; the difference being the number of dancers.
